How do you find, identify and select talent?

Our best source for great talent is referrals from successful candidates and satisfied clients. With over thirty years in business and over 3,500 successful placements, people know and trust us.

To supplement our candidate pipeline we participate in job fairs, maintain robust social and e-blast recruiting campaigns, actively network in regional affiliations, and utilize a proprietary database we have developed.

We also have a strict candidate vetting process:

- Every candidate is personally interviewed by a member of our staff to ascertain their individual character, communication style, and work preferences;
- Every candidate is required to provide two business references to verify their background, experience, and reliability;
- We use SkillCheck® to evaluate candidate’s quantifiable skills such as software knowledge, accounting skills, etc.;
- Enhanced assessments to evaluate candidate attitude and aptitude are also available;
- At client request we can conduct full background and chemical screening checks.

What is your process? What can I expect?
The Initial Needs Assessment

When you first initiate contact with us through the “Request an Employee” form, a phone call (914) 428-4800 or an email, a Staffing Coordinator will begin with an Initial Needs Assessment. Our objective is to learn about your company, the immediate needs, and long-term goals. We will schedule a convenient time for a site visit to meet all essential stakeholders associated with the job opening.

The Comprehensive Needs Assessment

During the site visit, a Staffing Coordinator will perform a Comprehensive Needs Assessment. We will review specific goals, the job criteria, and any challenges related to the open position. We will observe the environment and unique culture of your organization. We will discuss the various hiring solutions available and which would work best for the current situation. At the conclusion of the visit, we will provide an action plan outlining the recommended solution you have selected and the steps we will follow accordingly.

Direct Hire

While the online job posting and application process makes it easier to post a job and gather resumes, it has also enabled people from all over the world to submit applications that recruiters need to verify are viable candidates. Additionally the use of Articifial Intelligence (AI) adds another layer of complexity. At Madison Approach we believe it’s not about the QUANTITY of the candidates, but the QUALITY of the candidates.
